Chris joined the firm in 1968 and qualified in 1973. He became a partner in 1976 and was senior partner of the firm from 1998 to 2009. Chris serves larger charity and corporate clients and many family businesses throughout the region. Within the firm he has been closely involved with professional standards and audit compliance. Chris heads the firm’s Charity specialism group and is chairman of the corporate services team. He is a member of the Institute of Directors and has served as non-executive director of a number of companies.
Chris' interests outside work revolve mainly around sailing. He and his wife Gail sail a Dragon at Lowestoft and throughout Europe. His two children are also very keen sailors and the family have taken part in many National, European and World sailing championships.
Chris is a Deputy Lieutenant for the county of Norfolk and a trustee of The Norfolk Community Foundation, the Norfolk & Norwich Festival Trust, Norwich Heritage Economic & Regeneration Trust (HEART) and the Penman Foundation. |
