 | As a minimum you will have achieved or be expecting to achieve a minimum of 240 UCAS points and will have a comprehensive set of GCSE’s or equivalent. It is not essential for applicants to have an ‘A’ level or equivalent qualification in a related discipline i.e. Accountancy or Mathematics, however this would be desirable. Applicants with some work experience in accountancy or a similar field will be considered with high regard.
Successful candidates will have the ability to communicate competently with fellow colleagues and senior staff, have good numeracy ability and be able to work as a member of a team.
Training
Trainees at this level will begin studying for the AAT qualification, which will be fully funded and supported by the firm. Those with exceptional entry level results may go straight on to study ACCA. Pending the outcome of this, opportunity to then study for the ACCA or ACA professional qualification will be considered.
Exemption from Foundation stage
There are exemptions for trainees with 2 ‘A’ levels or academic equivalent, or those with an ‘A’ level in accounting.
All other requirements for membership must be met.
The closing date for applications is 31 January 2008. Click on the link on the left for an application form.
