Charity and not for profit

The legislation around charity accounting adds an extra layer of complexity to your needs. Our team of charity specialists have plenty of experience dealing with this particular area of accountancy.

We are able to support you with all of your accounting needs, from the complex area of VAT and tax compliance through to the training of your trustees and advising you on fundraising and grant applications.

Other areas we can assist with include:
• Gift Aid procedures and regulations
• Assistance with preparation and review of business plans
• Compliance with Charity SORP and Charity Law in the preparation of the accounts and annual report.
• Annual audit and one off grant return audits
• Advising on internal management controls, risk reviews and accounting policies.
• HR and employment consultancy include payroll and workplace pensions

Many of our team hold diplomas in charity accounting, including Mark Proctor who heads the team up. As well as this many of the team act as trustees for charities close to their own hearts or as school governors.

"Just a quick note to say how really brilliant both Jackie and Shona have been in taking over our payroll . They have handled us brilliantly . They are extremely knowledgeable, patient and competent for which we are very grateful.
It was quite scary changing after 15 years, but have no regrets.
