At this time of year it is sensible to think about your financial situation, as crucial tax allowances can be wasted if not used before the end of the tax year. In addition, there are things you should think about now ahead of the new tax year.

We would much prefer to talk with you, but appreciate this is not always possible. A brief summary therefore, of some key items to consider, is given below. Whilst not all will be relevant or important to you, they are worthy of consideration at this time of year.

Checklist before 5 April 2017

Checklist after 6 April 2017

These lists are not intended to be exhaustive, so please do pick up the ‘phone to talk specifically about your affairs. We always suggest getting our agreement before doing anything because complex tax laws may mean something is not appropriate in your circumstances.
