LB150 three peaks challenge

By: Marketing Team Date: 25 April 2017
Category: Charity,Great Yarmouth

Whilst many of us look forward to the last bank holiday of the summer to enjoy a BBQ, or finish some DIY, this year a team of 13 from Lovewell Blake's Great Yarmouth office will be donning their walking boots and taking on the three peaks challenge. They will have 24 hours to attempt to scale Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon.

The challenge has been talked about for some time, and the team decided that 2017 would be the year they would take to the peaks and raise money for the LB150 fund, Lovewell Blake’s staff led charitable fund. The fund supports organisations across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire where grants up to £2,000 are available. So far, over £200,000 in grants has been shared with local groups since the fund began in 2008.

The team will include James Kent and Katie Allan who took part in the 2016 London Marathon. Other members of the team are: Ross Akers, James Austin, Hannah Gibson, Susanne Spalding, Keeley Thain, Craig Osben, Vanessa Grant, Megan Spillings, Stacy Tovell and Aaliyah Leggett from the Great Yarmouth office and along with Katie, Stacy's partner Jo will be joining them. Pictured above are some of the team in training mode (left to right Susanne, Vanessa, Hannah, Ross, James, Aaliyah and Megan).

If you would like to support the team you can visit their fundraising page.
