Our Team
Keith Shorten
After being educated at Wymondham College, Keith joined Carter Edmonds & Co in 1981 before it became part of Lovewell Blake in 1986. He qualified as a Chartered Certified accountant in 1989 and became a partner in 1998. After many years advising corporate and owner managed businesses he has spent the last seven years specialising in advising medical practices on all aspects of financial advice.
Keith is the firm's training partner with responsibility for organising the continued professional and personal development of partners and staff as well as overseeing the progress of the firm's trainees.
He is married with two teenage sons and two teenage stepsons. Outside of work Keith enjoys watching football (Norwich City season ticket holder and keen follower of his boys' football), the occasional game of golf and maintains an active interest in The Boys Brigade. He was President of the Norwich District Society of Chartered Certified accountants in 1997/98 and spent eight years as a Governor at St William's Primary School in Norwich.
"The Harleston Medical Pratice has been a client of Lovewell Blake for many years and we have been dealing with Keith Shorten since 2005, during which time the practice has seen many changes.
Keith and his team have been invaluable, providing an excellent service often at short notice: during the merger of two practices, changing from GMS to PMS, various partnership changes and providing general accounts advice.
We receive regular newsletters and pertinent updates. We would have no hesitation in recommending Keith and Lovewell Blake especially to fast growing/developing practices."
