Nigel Cushion Nelsonspirit
Nigel Cushion BSc (Hons), FRSA
Nigel is the founder of Nelsonspirit, a social impact business offering leadership mentoring to CEOs and MDs, and leadership opportunities to young people. He is also a leadership speaker and experienced non-executive director, chairman, and investor.

In the last 15 years he has been a non executive director of many owner-managed companies, and has chaired companies that were in The Times Fast Track 100, and EDP Business of the Year. He was runner up in the UK 'Non Executive Director of the Year' awards, sponsored by the Sunday Times and 3i.

He has led capital fund raising rounds for businesses using family, angel and bank funding. He is the former chairman of the Institute of Directors in Norfolk, and has been listed in the 'who’s who' of Britain's business leaders. His work is cited as good practice by HM Treasury, The Cabinet, The IoD, and The Bank of England and he has spoken on leadership in the USA and Africa as well as in Europe.
