The event will be held at Halesworth Golf Club on Wednesday, 5th March.
We are delighted to welcome our speaker Neeve McGinty, NFU external affairs manager, who will discuss the NFU’s lobbying efforts in Westminster, particularly in response to the proposed changes to Agricultural Property Relief and Business Property Relief announced in the recent Budget. Neeve will cover political changes following the last General Election, the importance of engaging with new MPs, and the launch of the NFU’s Food and Farming Fellowship.
Arrival for the event is as normal, 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start. The Lovewell Blake agriculture team will be there from 7pm if you want to get there early! There will also be a free buffet afterwards and plenty of time to catch up.
The event will be held at Halesworth Golf Club, Bramfield Road, Halesworth, IP19 9XA.
This event aims to provide insights into the NFU’s efforts and the importance of political engagement for the farming community.
