Norfolk’s Under 17s girls county cricket team are staring a busy season of matches – after a local firm of accountants renewed their sponsorship of the team for the second year.
Accountants, business advisers and financial planners Lovewell Blake have once again agreed to support the county’s Under 17s girls team.
The team has a busy season ahead of them, with matches against Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Huntingdonshire, Suffolk and Surrey, as well as a tour to Malvern where they will face opposition from a number of other county sides.
Team coach Pete Free, who played for Norfolk between 2000 and 2008, said, “Ladies cricket is really growing in popularity, and this support will enable us to fulfil a complete season of matches, helping the talented youngsters develop their game.”
Norfolk Under 17s girls team manager Nick Morton added, “We are very grateful to Lovewell Blake for their continued support of cricket in the county. Sponsors like them, who are willing to support our young players, are vital to the future of the game.”
