Further Government funding for charities - applications open today

The Government have announced further details of the £370m pot of funding available for frontline charities.

£310m will be distributed to UK charities by the National Lottery Community Fund. Of this, £200m will be available initially. The National Lottery Community Fund have indicated that the objectives of the fund are to –

• increase community support to vulnerable people affected by the COVID-19 crisis
• reduce temporary closures of essential charities and social enterprises
