I have been a qualified accountant for a number of years and have been a partner at various top 10 and 20 firms for some time. Nine years ago I decided to start my own accountancy practice. From 2002 I began to specialise in the not for profit sector, and for 6 years headed up this sector in the East Anglian region for a top 10 national firm. Since 2009 I have spent a significant period of time providing consultancy services to one of the fastest growing charities in the UK.
Throughout every stage of my career I have worked closely with owner-managed businesses, giving detailed advice on growth strategies, as well as more general financial advice. I feel it is vitally important to understand what drives a client, what their personal motivations are, when setting financial strategies. One size does not fit all. This completely aligns with Lovewell Blake ‘different because you are’.
Some of the best compliments I receive from clients is that I don’t fit their standard idea of an accountant!
I am excited about merging my practice with Lovewell Blake and being part of a team with specialists in so many important areas.
