I have been working in IT since 1997 and joined Lovewell Blake in 1999 as an assistant Network Engineer. I have a background in hardware, software, networking and general desktop support. In my initial years I worked as part of the IT support team, taking on general management of the helpdesk in 2007 when I became an Assistant IT manager, later being promoted to IT support Manager in 2013.
In my more recent years with the firm I have been responsible for project managing the planning and implementation of various software solutions, including document management and the firm’s tax software. I have also been responsible for the continued support of these and other key areas.
During this time I have achieved various qualifications, from an ILM Level 3 Award in Management to other industry recognised qualifications such as a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) and Technology Specialist (MCTS). I continue to develop my knowledge on new technologies in order to support the firm’s needs, and my interests outside of work are photography and wildlife.
