Training and personal development

We understand the importance of investing in training and development, not only so it enhances the services we provide to clients but also so it allows our employees to continuously grow and develop with us. Our training programme covers CPD, technical updates, soft skills and management development training and is delivered in person or online depending on the session.

We don’t just focus on the here and now, we make sure that we are always considering the skills we may need for the future too to ensure the firm, and our employees, are able to move with changes in the industry.

Continuing Professional Development and Technical Updates

As a qualified professional you will need to meet your CPD requirements on an ongoing basis and we are here to assist with this. Our specialist training providers deliver CPD approved updates and technical courses to supplement any training requirements you identify.

Discussions with your line partner in the summer review process will identify training needs and our training schedule makes it easy for you and your line partner to determine what internal courses you should attend.

Requests for any additional external training courses which would be beneficial for you to attend will be considered on a case by case basis but if there is a clear training need then it is likely to be accommodated. Likewise if we receive significant demand for particular training then we hold additional training sessions to meet the demand.

Technical

To deliver exceptional service to our clients we need to ensure our employees are up to date with their technical knowledge. We don’t expect you to do this on your own so we provide technical update training alongside access to technical resources as and when you may need to refer to them.

Soft skills

We know that soft skills are key to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients. Whether it is fine tuning effective communication or learning how to manage junior colleagues, we will support you in the development of the key soft skills you need. This training is provided via our specialise provider so it is kept in context and relevant to the day to day work you undertake. We will also use external training for any further ad-hoc training requirements which are identified during conversations around your development.
