Our heritage is important to us, having been established in 1858 and being the oldest accountancy firm to retain its original name, however we’re also about looking to the future and ensuring we keep up with industry developments so we can support clients and employees in the fast paced world we are living in now. 


We pride ourselves on being a supportive employer ensuring that each employee receives the support and dedication from us that they need, no matter what their position is within in the firm or what they may be facing outside. The introduction of new policies including agile working, enhanced parental pay, compassionate leave, pregnancy loss and menopause support all show just how important this is to us. We know that for teams to support our clients, we need to support the employees in those teams.

Supporting these communities is high on our agenda whether it is sponsorship of local events, awarding grants through the Lovewell Blake Community Fund, or staff using their paid volunteering day to support local good causes of their choice.

We are keen to understand the impact our business has on the environment, and one of our current business objectives is to understand this better so we can make positive changes to reduce our carbon footprint.
