My role
I joined Lovewell Blake from school in 1984. I am a Chartered Tax Adviser based at our Thetford office, although I regularly visit our Bury St Edmunds and Ely offices. Many of the clients that I deal with are SMEs and family businesses although I also advise private clients and trustees. I advise on remuneration strategies for directors and shareholders of SMEs. I advise on planning in relation to capital taxes and I also help clients with tax enquiries and investigations. With regard to corporate taxes, I have a particular specialism in relation to Research and Development Tax Incentives.
About me
Outside of the office, I am married with two grown-up sons. In my spare time you are quite likely to find me on the golf course. I am also very interested in the history of the Tudor period.
