We are delighted to invite you to join us for our next insightful and engaging Aylsham Agricultural breakfast. We will be hearing from three speakers who will share their expertise on crucial topics affecting our industry and economy.

First, we will welcome Michael Anker, Project lead for the Norfolk Strategy. Michael is a fifth generation, retired Cambridgeshire farmer and FWAG conservation award winner for best farm in Cambs for 1989. He has been involved in the management of wild deer in the UK for over 40 years as well as deer management and conservation in North America and Europe. A full member of Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) and a BASIS Professional Environmental Advisor. He holds degrees from the UEA in Applied Environmental Land Management and Harper Adams in Wildlife Conservation and Environmental Management and many other professional qualifications. He has developed the Norfolk FWAG Norfolk Deer & Wild Venison Strategy from initial concept to implementation to what is now a functioning and successful initiative that has landowner collaboration across 93,000 hectares of Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. Showing that positive actions can become positive outcomes that bring multiple benefits to all stakeholders.

Following Michael, Chris Solt, Agriculture Partner at Lovewell Blake will give a topical update for the agricultural sector.
