The event will be held at Halesworth Golf Club on Wednesday, 4th March.
We are delighted to welcome Robert Tilney as our speaker.
Robert Tilney, who is a regular expert on BBC’s ‘Antiques Roadshow’, will be telling ‘Tales from The Antiques Roadshow’ at the event, with anecdotes and behind-the-scenes stories of working on television’s biggest antiques show.
Mr Tilney, who is a Master Gunsmith and a Law Society Expert Witness on Firearms and Ballistics, runs a traditional gunsmiths in Beccles which was established by his great-grandfather in 1860. After leaving school, he was apprenticed under his father, and now specialises in the sale, repair and restoration of both modern and antique firearms.
He is an avid country sportsman, running a family shoot using both modern and antique weapons.
Arrival for the event is as normal, 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start. The Lovewell Blake agriculture team will be there from 7pm if you want to get there early! There will also be a free buffet afterwards and plenty of time to catch up.
The event will be held at Halesworth Golf Club, Bramfield Road, Halesworth, IP19 9XA.
