The firm recruits a new cohort of school leavers, college leavers, graduates and interns on an annual basis, with all embarking on professional qualifications from day one.
The firm is one of just 16 in the whole of the Eastern region which is recognised as a ‘Gold Best Employer’ in the Best Employers survey.
Those joining from school and college start the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) whilst graduate trainees study for the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) – onto which AAT qualified staff can also progress.
Those starting their career with one of Lovewell Blake’s Tax teams will study towards their Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT), leading onto a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) professional qualification.

“It is always a highlight of our year to welcome the new cohort of trainees as they embark on their career in accountancy,” said Lovewell Blake senior partner, Simon Watson.
“As a firm we are committed to training the next generation of professionals. We are proud of how we nurture talent from the very start of someone’s career to the highest level: 83% of our partners and managers have been promoted internally, and it may well be that we have future senior Lovewell Blake people amongst this year’s group of trainees.
“I wish all of our new entrants every success, and look forward to watching them achieve qualifications, and progress in their careers.”
Students interested in applying for Lovewell Blake’s 2026 training intake can find further details here. Applications will open in the autumn for both graduates and school and college leavers.
