Training and Development
Without exception we provide employees with valuable training whatever stage of your career you join Lovewell Blake. Our training combines both external training via industry related qualifications, and internal training with continuing professional development courses, which are tailor made to the professions.
We are proud to have built an industry-leading reputation for our apprenticeship and graduate schemes
We have been named as one of the top 100 UK employers for school and college leavers. The top 100 list was compiled by leading school leaver career website AllAboutSchoolLeavers.co.uk entirely from opinions provided by apprentices and school leaver trainees working in thousands of organisations across the country. The research analysed a wide range of factors, including skills development, career progression and training.
Through our annual appraisal process, we work with each and every one of our employees on an individual basis to ensure the training and development they receive supports their specific learning objectives and career aspirations.
We are proud to be a fixture in the Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire communities in which we live and work. Our staff take part in a variety of events on both a firm-led and individual basis to raise money for our LB150 fund which supports both local and national good causes.
Here's just a small selection of events our staff have taken part in:
- Competed in a muddy run
- Hosted a ten-pin bowling night
- Held dress down days
- Completed the three peaks challenge
- Hosted quiz nights
- Cycled from London to Amsterdam to raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK
- Taken part in a variety of golf days for different charities
- Held coffee mornings as part of the Macmillan Cancer World's Biggest Coffee Morning
- Taken part in a Dragon Boat Festival
- Support Open Christmas in Great Yarmouth
To further enhance our support to local and national good causes, employees are granted one day's paid leave each calendar year to donate their time to a range of different organisations in the region.
Staff a Lovewell Blake are a sociable bunch and throughout the year they get involved in a range of activities either within their team, office or firm wide. These include sporting challenges, networking activities, fundraising events and staff parties.
Each office has a Christmas lunch, which traditionally takes place on the last working day before Christmas.
